As many people know, I first got involved in politics in Surrey where I was elected as a councillor on Runnymede Borough Council. Over two years there I met some great people and learned a huge amount about how local government can work.
Becuase of my recent selection as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate here in Derby, I’ve stood down from the Council but remain grateful to everyone I met in Runnymede for all the help and support they’ve given me.
