I hate to disappoint you, but not only was I educated at my local comprehensive school, but I was also on subsidised meals while I was there.

I’m Conservative because I believe the government safety net should catch you as you fall (as it did for my family – for which I remain eternally grateful).

Sadly, under this Labour government, that safety net now holds and restricts people who want to get out of it and start working.
