I’m fresh back from the Conservative party conference in Manchester. I met incredible people from all walks of life who are using politics to make their communities better.
Some are running for office, some are supporting the candidate they believe in, some are campaigning on issues they care about and some were just there to understand more about the views of people who may be charged with running the country.
All of these causes are noble and it was fantastic to meet-up with so many like-minded people.
I was also privileged to have been invited to speak at a variety of fringe events. From the high concepts of electoral reform to the more practical subjects of effective procurement and sustainability in local government, it was a privilege to be involved.
On the conference itself, I’ve added links to a selection of speeches below for those that want to know more about what we stand for, what we’ll do and how we’ll help drag this country out of the mess Gordon Brown has dumped us in.
David Cameron’s Speech (The Priorities and Values of the Conservative Party)

Was there any mention of English Votes on English Laws?
I heard virtually nothing about devolution, and nothing at all about the English Question.
