The Derby Conservative group leader has stuck his neck out and said that he’ll stand-up for motorists and will look to reduce speed cameras and replace them with more effective and less intrusive speed reduction measures.
Of course he’s come into a load of stick from the usual crowd but read here about how he responds to them in the Derby Evening Telegraph.
A Conservative Derby will be a better value, more flexible and safer Derby.

Hi
Do you really expect me to vote for someone who is so casual, careless in his presentations. ‘Morotists’ indeed, whatever next!
Thanks for this Ken – good spot!
As I’ve said before and will, no doubt say again, it would be the easiest thing in the world for me to imitate my opponent and have no website, no email address and lock myself away in a world of politics.
That isn’t what I want to do. I want to be open, engaged and tell the voters what I believe in. In doing that I will make mistakes like typos and rash comments but I think that’s a price worth paying if it means I help drag our political system into the modern world.
What do you think?
I was keen to see what your policies for Derby may be but a little disappointed to see there weren’t more and the one mentioned i don’t really feel is that important.
