In addition to following and supporting Jack, there are two ways to join the Conservatives: as a Member or as a Friend. Both are great ways to show your support, so choose the one that’s right for you.

Join as a Member

Members play an active role in the Party, and receive important voting rights in Party elections. As a Member, you’ll be able to:

Decide who represents the Party in local, general and European elections
Vote in elections for the Party Leader and in your local Association’s AGM
Attend Party Conferences

In addition, you’ll receive:

Access to our Affinity Programme which provides great discounts on a wide range of products
A membership card and welcome booklet
Regular email updates

Becoming a Member costs £25 a year – or £5 a year if you’re under 23 years old.

Join as a friend

If you’re keen to show your support but don’t want to be a full Member, becoming a Friend is the perfect way to join. As a Friend, you’ll be able to attend Party Conferences, and will receive:

Regular email updates

To become a Friend, all you need to do is make a donation of any amount (from a minimum of £1).

With so many great causes out there, and with times so tough, it may seem strange to donate to a political cause. However, if you really believe that the political cause will bring benefit to your society its a great way of getting the most social good for your money.

Politicians have the ability to change so many thing that getting the right ones in place is vital. If you find one you support and agree with, then giving to their campaign can be very rewarding and beneficial for your community.

I hope you’ll support me to become the MP for Derby South. I’d love to represent this constituency but there is expense involved with any campaign. Your money would be spent on leaflets to let people know what the campaign is about, advertising to get the message out about what we want to do, surveying the people of Derby to make sure our policies really represent the views of Derbians and paying expenses for the small army of staff that turn out to drive our campaign forward.
