Margaret Beckett is your current MP.  She has been the MP for Derby South since 1983.  margaret_becketShe is a Labour MP, the current Minister of State for Housing and Planning and she is my opposition. 

So why do I encourage you to contact her?  I believe in democracy and she is the person elected in Derby South – she can, should, and probably will, help you if you contact her.  She is not a bad person, but she doesn’t make it easy to communicate with her.
